Here’s the ultimate timeline for ordering your wedding dress:

12–9 Months Before the Wedding

Begin your search! Book your appointment with us here to explore Bridal dress styles that resonate with you. During your appointment, we will guide you through this process and try all types of Wedding dress and silhouettes so you can be confident when you’ve found ‘The Dress,’ we will celebrate with you and help place your order. Wedding dresses at Brides of Berkhamsted are made-to-order and can take up to 6 months to arrive.

6–4 Months Before

Your dress will arrive during this window and we’ll be so excited to see you again at your ‘own dress’ appointment, this is a great tine to choose veils and hair pieces too. Our team will also help you schedule your first fitting with our partners The Modiste as soon as possible. This allows enough time for alterations, which may take a few appointments depending on the complexity of your gown.

2 Months Before

By now, you will be nearing your final fitting. This is when you’ll see the almost-finished version of your dress and make any last-minute adjustments for the perfect fit.

1–2 Weeks Before

Your dress is ready! You’ll collect your Wedding dress steamed and looking perfect for your Big Day!
